Well today we left North Carolina, drove through Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and ended up in Pennsylvania.
Just to sum up a bit since last time I wrote something here, we are done doing church concerts. We had our last one in November in Virginia. It was in a little church with 103 people in attendance but what a show. Auntie Beth from Kenya let all us aunties wear one of her African costumes and Uncle Vic wore one of Davids so we were all dressed up. We all went up and danced the last song with the children and apparently I have a few moves up my sleeve, at least accordingly to the video we took:) Good times.
After our last concert we drove to Raleigh North Carolina. There is a church there that has bought two houses and renovated the garage into living area just for the choir to use. The property is in the country with a BIG open area for the children to play in. What a blast!! We let the children run free and after 14 months of a strict tour schedule, they thrived! Last night to celebrate our last evening we had pop-its and sparklers outside and then a cake.
We did do a lot of rehearsals while at the house for our Christmas event. Starting on Sunday they are rehearsing with the Baltimore Symphony orchestra and Sandi Patti and then doing 14 shows with them. It is a really neat Christmas concert. The children have worked really hard on the concert and we are all excited to see it all come together.
Right now we are in Pennsylvania. We are doing a special concert tomorrow and then heading to Baltimore.
After the last show in Baltimore, which is the 23rd, we are going to a camp in New York for Christmas. Then on December 27th the children fly back to Africa.
Wow, I'm going to be home in 23 days! It's exciting, sad and scary all at the same time. Please pray for me as I adjust to living in MB again after travelling for so long.
God bless

Hampton Virginia
So it's been forever since I wrote anything. There has been lots going on. Since I wrote last I met and talked to Matt Damon (that's my claim to fame). The children also performed for President Bush and we had a picture taken with him. It's been interesting.
Now we are in Virginia. We crossed america's longest bridge today. It's really neat. It's a bridge but twice it becomes a tunnel. Instead of making the bridge high enough for ships to go under, the ships go over. Altogether it's 17 miles long.
It is warm here. I was just wearing a t-shirt today. I've heard that it's icy and snowy in Manitoba already, sorry:(
We have four more church concerts left before we go into three weeks of rehearsal and then three weeks of Christmas concerts in Baltimore. Tour is winding up again. In some ways it feels like it just started but it's been seven months again.
I am excited to get home. I hope to come shortly after Christmas and stay awhile!

Bangor Maine
So Saturday we crossed the border into the US. We have three concerts in Maine and then one in Vermont before we go back into Canada. Tour has been busy.
We have done a few doctor visits which always take some time to plan. Please pray for the health of the children. It is hard for them to be sick but harder when we travel all the time. It was so cute. Uncle David and I took a boy to the doctor and the doctor told him to say "awww." The boy said "awww" exactly on key. The doctor was a bit surprised but this is a choir after all:)
I am learning a million things with this tour leading experience. Not all the lessons are easy but somehow it will be worth it. We do have a good staff and the children are amazing.
Thank you all for your prayers.

Nova Scotia
Hi everyone. So we are almost done with our Nova Scotia part of the tour. It's been nice. Nova Scotia is a beautiful province. We went up to Cape Breton Island. Didn't see the Cabot trail but would love to sometime. Right now we are in Halifax. I just got back from Peggy's Cove. It's a really neat place. The waves were crashing in which is pretty neat to see for a prairie girl:)

Gananoqua Ontario...
Or something like that. The locals call it Gan which makes it alot easier:)
Well time is flying by. We had an outdoor concert Sunday night which went very well. We are at this amazing church that is doing sooo many things for us. They have taken all the costumes in for dry cleaning which is a big deal and got a doctor's appointment for one of our boys that has a bit of a rash going on. God takes such good care of us. When we start to worry about something and God answers it reminds me how wrong worry is because God has it all under control. God is good.
Last week we took the children to Canada's Wonderland. They had sooo much fun. That is an amazingly big park. We could have spent a whole week there but the kids enjoyed rolla-coasta's, and wata-slides while we were there. The next day we decided to extend our mini vacation and spent the morning at a beach on Lake Ontario. It was such a good time just to play with the kids and show them how much we appreciate their hard work.
We are headed to Quebec on Friday. I'm looking forward to seeing just a bit of Quebec before we cross the border into Maine on Saturday.
Thank you everyone for praying for me and the rest of the choir.

Touring again...??
And here I thought I was done. Then I go for just a short trip which now has turned into 8 months. God is good.
So here's what happened. I agreed to tour for 6 weeks which turned into 7. Then they asked me to stay for the rest of the tour. Now I'm on till the end of December as a tour leader. I was a real struggle for me because I felt like the job is too big for me. With God on my side I can do what He wants me to do.
I just ask for prayer support from all of you. This time of transition is proving to be a time of deep soul searching and feelings of inadequacy. I would like you just to specifically pray that I would look for the positives and rejoice in the work that has been given to me. I thank God for each of you. Even if I don't know who all reads this, I know that many of you are praying and from prayer comes miracles.
Good night, God Bless
