Winnipeg MB
Here I am in Winnipeg. Almost home yet sooo far away:) I was actually in Winkler last week. I had a day off so I spent it at my parents house. I'm not sure yet when I'll be off of tour. It has been a matter of some serious prayer for awhile so we'll see how it goes.
I am excited about seeing so many people I know at the Altona concert.
See you there:)

Dauphin MB
Well now we are in Dauphin. Never been up here before but it's really nice. I'm staying with four boys in a host home, Ibrahim, Jerome, Johnson and Joseph. We just got back from the Dauphin Lake where we had a weiner roast. It's not really that warm out but it was fun. The boys all took their shoes off and had a contest on who could stay in the water longest:) The longest was Jerome at about 30 seconds:)
Tour is going very well. Talked to Mom today and they are coming to a concert on Wednesday in Portage. Yeah!! It's always fun to have familiar people coming to a concert. It will make it feel like I'm actually close to home.
The reason I'm on this tour is to cover vacations for the chaperones that have been on tour now for 8 months. Amanda the administrator left for Texas yesterday so I'm filling in for her now. I was the admin for the other tour that I was on so it feels like back to normal.
Thank you Cath and Aunt Lorraine for leaving a message:)

In Manitoba
Yeah!! Today we crossed into Manitoba! Getting closer to home:) It is 25 degrees here in Virden and WINDY!! It's good though, finally no threat of snow and the grass is green.
We haven't been doing anything really exciting. Just the usual concerts, host families etc.
I would love to hear from someone who actually reads my blog. I know I always say that but it's just inspiring:)
Hear from you soon:)

Consul SK
So we have a booking in Consul SK. Never heard of it? Might be because the entire population of Consul is 67, well plus cats, dogs and hamsters:)
We definetly were the happening for the week. Three of us aunties walked to the ice cream store and were greeted with "And here they are!" by the locals sitting around eating ice cream and drinking coffee. Not even wearing ACC attire but still recognized perhaps because we were the only strangers in town. But "Thank-you Linda for the free ice-cream:)" If all small towns were that hospitable it might be worth giving up shopping malls for...
