Tukwila WA

So here we are, still in Washington. It's cold and rainy but I think I shouldn't complain. I called home yesterday and heard about snow and colder stuff like that, so maybe I can handle a bit of rain:)
Tour is going well. We're headed to Bellevue tonight for another concert. We don't really have that many concerts left before the tour is over so each one seems a bit more important. The children are learning some Christmas songs to add to our concerts in December. Uncle Henry is dedicating his time to that so the rest of us staff have some time off this morning.
Please keep praying for us as we head into the Christmas season and the end of tour.
Love you all, Barb

Yay!! A new post!!! I love you and will keep praying for you. it's hard to believe that tour is so close to over. Make the most of it and I'll see you before we know it! (at least, before the snow melts - aren't you excited to see it all????)

Love you!

Are you traveling with the International African Childrens Choir? If you are please send me an e-mail at meilee@seattlesouthside.com. I used to live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and first saw the Choir back in the 90's while they were on tour! I helped get the choir get into Silverwood Theme Park for a quick performance and then fun in the park for the rest of the day. Those kids have SUCH a place in my heart. I would love to connect with the choir director via e-mail and find out about future tours through the Seattle area. I have connections with area attractions and would help process a request to get the choir in for a short easy performance and then fun for the rest of the day - at an attraction. And where are you staying? Do you need help negotiating rates at hotels for next year's tour? Please e-mail me. I found you via a Google alert that I have on Tukwila entries (job related) and was elated to see your blog.
